Message: This is a wonderful little place! They manage to offer a wide array of products for such a little shop. There's something for everyone, even if you've never tried Korean or Japanese food. There's more Korean than Japanese food, but just by a margin. You've got everything from supplies to make homemade kimchi to cute little snack kits from Japan. I highly recommend the rice cakes coated in coconut that you'll find in the refrigerated area, near the mochi (which is great too. ) As a side note, if you have a soy allergy or intolerance, this is a great place to shop. If I go to Safeway, for example, and want to buy some packaged treats, almost every single one will have soy in some form. Whereas the packaged treats at Sandyi rarely had soy - actually, I haven't found any yet that did. The owners are super nice, lovely people. It seems to be family-owned and it's always great to support small, local family-owned businesses. They play a vital role in our community.. The one single negative I have, unfortunately, is that the bathrooms aren't disability-accessible. I use a cane and didn't struggle too much, but if you have a walker, wheelchair, forearm crutches, or the like, you'll most likely want to use the restroom at another nearby location. The bathroom is marked as being for employees, so that might be some of the reason for that, and I appreciate that they let me use it. I won't deduct a star for it, just a word of caution for any other disabled folks! The store itself would be a tight fit for a wheelchair but you could probably manage it with help. It's such a small space, you'll want to be aware of that.. But overall, this is an awesome market and I'll be visiting it again many times over. They even have a book area, mostly Japanese from what I could tell. Nice place.

Message: Visited today (Aug 2023) and I was very impressed with how clean and well organized this place was. Very kind and friendly customer service, and the inventory they carry seemed to be not like expiring ones, but fresh ones. Even the fresh produce section was really neatly organized. It is $1-2 more expense for each product, when compared to big Korean groceries in big cities, like H mart, but given that this is Tucson, I'm very grateful that we have a place like this even for a bit of premium pricing. Definitely recommend.

Message: Such a great variety or Korean and Japanese products, and the prices are pretty decent. Everything from frozen seafood to packaged ramen you’ve never gotten to try. The owner is the nicest woman ever (along with the other employees who work there) and they’re super helpful and friendly. Honestly one of the best family owned markets I come to on a consistent basis. Been coming for about a year and still haven’t gone through everything at this store. It’s small but it’s packed with good stuff!

Message: My new favorite Asian store in Tucson! Great variety of Japanese foods that are sometimes hard to find in one location, unless you drive to Phoenix. Clean and organized displays and very friendly clerk was helping us. I have already spread the word amongst friends and family

Message: I use this place for all of korean food wants! They have really good prices on everything, comparable to the big cheap corporate stores. Noodle selection is huge, excellent quality produce and many snacks. Organic Mushrooms! Kitchen pantry basics. I even found a replacement shower wash cloth, I haven't been able to find at other stores! Staff is incredibly friendly. For being such a small store, they really supply a very large selection!

Message: What an awesome place to stumble upon. I'm so happy I finally decided to shop here. They have tons and tons of dry noodles, fresh vegetables, and frozen meats. All kinds of cooking sauces, oils, and vinegars. Desserts galore and even cook wear and dishes. You can buy beer and sake as well as many different types of tea's. If you want to make any kind of Asian inspired meal you can find everything you need in this one store. The staff was very happy, helpful and friendly. The prices were mostly great

Message: Best place to get all your Korean ingredients. I love to cook Korean food and today felt like homemade kimchi. They even have the tubs for kimchi making. My favorite store in Tucson.
