Message: Awesome family owned and ran store!

Message: This is a great little grocery store! In the small town of Winkelman, Arizona… Girsetti's has everything! The obvious things like household, cleaners, canned goods, snacks… Easy Peezy.. The vegetable assortment is a little light as one might expect in such a small store. But all the vegetables were fresh and the assortment was good… Quantities were relatively small, but whoever buys the produce for the store does a good job.. they actually had a very good butcher selection in the store. The beef looked wonderful who would think it.. a full butcher in such a tiny store?. They even had a stationary, an office supply section! The man running the store, and the patrons were all very friendly.

Message: My wife used to live in the town of winkelman when she was a little girl. We went there this morning and visited Giorsetti's and drove past the house where she used to live. It was a great experience!

Message: Nothing like going into the store and being treated like family. Might be pricey with some items but you can't beat the convenience of being able to get what you need without traveling 1 hour out of town to a major chain store.

Message: Everything I needed to make a beautiful fettachini alfredo, and it was good, throw in snickers for desert! Breakfast tomorrow includes cinnamon toast.. without raisins! My kinda grocery store and the service was wonderful!

Message: If you haven't stopped here, do so. This is a time niche from yesterday. Don't expect a full service super market. Quiet elegance must suffice! The grocerys are nice too.

Message: Best little town general store I've ever shopped at in my 66 years of life! Polite and informative owners, excellent butcher with quality meats and a great selection of goods every general store should have! I've shopped there for at least twice a week for a couple decades and prefer them over any grocery store.. very reasonable prices too!

Message: Landmark Alert! This grocery store may well be the oldest, continually operating food store in Arizona.. if it's not it's close. Giorsetti is housed on a quiet side street in quiet Winkelman. The Ray Mine nearby and the Hayden smelter just a mile away are what keep the town afloat and Giosetti has been there throughout the many decades to provide the mine families with good food. The butcher shop inside is known for its fine meats and the rest of the ancient store is like a museum with new pieces. I stop in just to feel what it must have been like for the locals 75 years ago to do all their shopping right here. I like that feel of historic crossed with on-going. Bless these folks for keepin' on.
